Hello again!
A big part of my teacher philosophy is summarized in Parker J. Palmer’s article “The Heart of a Teacher: Identity and Integrity in Teaching.” Palmer stands on the point that a teacher must not separate their personal life and their work life, but instead must be vulnerable and showcase their true selves in the classroom. For myself, this means embracing my inner nerd and my myriad passions in the classroom. I want to share my excitement and energy around topics with my students, really to share my identity, who I am. This page is representative of that, a scrapbook of who I am, where all the personal stuff goes, the accomplishments, big moments, exciting happenings and tiny pieces of joy.
Ready?
Here…
…we…
…go!…

That one time when our team raced firefighters to pull a fire truck down the street. This powerhouse led the way! Oh and we won btw..

Costume building through the years!

In this house we be gamers!

Seriously, we be gamers!

This one time we got the cutest little pooper that ever existed.

And then he got a little bigger…

…and weirder.

We have had some great times along the way…

…been on some great adventures…

…and fallen madly in love.

One day this happened.

I looked pretty badass channeling my inner Godfather.

We crushed it!

Seriously! We crushed it!

Now we are moving on in this crazy life…

…let’s see where it takes us.
